For many, asking for help isn’t about money. It’s about pride.
ComEd saw that financial assistance wasn’t reaching the people who needed it most, not because they didn’t qualify, but because they didn’t want to feel less for accepting it. So we created “A Little Assistance”, a campaign that turned one small act of support into something bigger than a paid bill. It became a spark for compassion. A ripple of dignity. A cultural shift from shame to shared humanity. This wasn’t just about covering energy costs. It was about restoring power in every sense of the word.
