Trash bags make a lot of tough claims. But nobody believes them. To prove that GLAD ForceFlex trash bag wasn’t just tough on paper, we did what no trash bag brand had ever dared: We checked it as luggage on a commercial flight.

No box. No suitcase. Just a loose, overstuffed trash bag facing the worst 10 U.S. airports, and every baggage handler’s worst mood. And it made it. No rips. No leaks. No excuses.

GLAD’s “Torture Tests” became one of the most brutally honest product demos ever filmed for the brand, and shared by people who were tired of gimmicks and ready for proof. A trash bag became a suitcase. A suitcase became a statement. And a category known for overpromising finally had one brand that overdelivered. Because toughness isn’t a claim. It’s a check-in.
